ASIAN & PACIFICIC ISLANDER AMERICAN SCHOLARSHIP

WOMEN’S WESTERN GOLF FOUNDATION

Applicants must be senior girls, US citizens, plan on attending a 4 year college, and complete the FAFSA form. Based of academic achievement, financial need, excellence of character and an involvement in the sport of golf. Skill or excellence in the sport of golf is not a criterion.

U.S. JCI SENATE FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Deadline: Jan 11

Each year, the U.S. Junior Chamber International (JCI) Senate Foundation grants $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors who plan to continue their education at accredited post-secondary colleges, universities or vocational schools. The number of grants awarded annually is at the discretion of the Foundation and must be used for educational expenses in the first year of full-time study. Checks awarded will be made out in the name of the recipient and the educational institution of the recipient’s choice.

LEN ASSANTE SCHOLARSHIP

Len Assante Scholarships are awarded annually to assist those studying in groundwater-related fields. An independent panel decides how to distribute the funds and the number of scholarships to be awarded from the pool of scholarship applicants. Scholarship recipients can receive up to $5000 to defray the costs of their education.

TECHNOLOGY ADDICTION AWARENESS SCHOLARSHIP

Who may apply: You must be a high school freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior or a current or entering college or graduate school student of any level. Home schooled students are also eligible. There is no age limit. You must also be a U.S. citizen or legal resident.

How to apply: Complete the application form below including a 140-character message about technology addiction. The top 10 applications will be selected as finalists. The finalists will be asked to write a full length 500- to 1,000-word essay about technology addiction.

WOMEN OF THE WORLD DISPLACED WOMEN’S EDUCATION FUND OF UTAH

Requirements

  1. Women refugees, asylees, and immigrants  (undocumented and documented) or their American-born daughters age 25 and under who wish to pursue education or technical/ certification training through a qualified program.

– Examples of qualified programs include but are not limited to GED, GRE, ESL, college or technical training.

– Technical training including but are not limited to: healthcare assistant, computer information systems, pharmacy technician, medical, massage therapy, criminal justice, and paralegal. 

  1. Scholarship can be used to cover tuition, but also the costs of transportation to the school or program, supplies or child care for when they are attending.
  2. Institution must be a two or four-year accredited public nonprofit college, university or vocational/technical school.
  3. Awards will not be made for students attending a for-profit institution.
